Sticking to Argentina Sportsman’s deep-rooted beliefs and applying its hands-on experience, our Bowhunting/Big Game division brings today a whole new way of hunting. Since most people are used to hunt with rifles in Argentina, bowhunting has become quite popular. AS is one of the first outfitter in the country specialized in (custom) bowhunting trips.
We are a group of local hunters that after hunting all around the country have developed and found extraordinary locations to offer our clients.
Many hunters think twice when deciding whether to pack their bows when hunting abroad or not. This happens because they are unaware of the hunting requirements and conditions in a certain place. Both the terrain and the specific habits of each species should be taken into account when deciding where to go and what to expect from a new hunting region.
Gary Bogner, former president of the SCI, has dedicated a great part of his long sports career to hunting the most characteristic species of each continent with bow and arrow.
Our aim is to follow the path forged by Bogner, inviting bowhunters from across the world to come and experience the fantastic hunting opportunities that our country has to offer, allowing them to plan their hunting adventure in the same way as local bow hunters do.
In this part of the world there are many big-game animals, but undoubtedly, the most attractive ones to be targeted are the Red Stag and the Brocket Deer.
Argentina has some of the best and biggest herds of wild Stags in the planet, from the Andes mountain range in Patagonia to the bushy country of La Pampa province.
Hunting for Brocket Deer in the forests of north Argentina is a challenging sport owing to the fact that this little kind of deer behaves like a ghost inside the forest and chasing it is an experience worth enjoying.
Our fascinating country also offers many other native and non-native game that provide exciting sport opportunities.
AS organizes very personalized trips only for wild/free range animals & fair chase hunts. No high fences, no canned hunts!. We don’t warranty the kill, but we do warranty that our clients will be hunting in the best locations at the best time.
